The Melbourne Environmental Sensing and Modelling Lab (MESML) of The University of Melbourne explores exciting questions about water, vegetation and energy processes at the land surface. 

 

We investigate dynamic interaction of land and the atmosphere via water/energy exchange and its role in sustaining terrestrial ecosystems and human life. 

 
 

Our members work on the key components of the land surface parameters and processes and collectively put the puzzle pieces together to better understand the terrestrial water and energy cycle.
